Constitution is the fundamental law of a country which ordains the fundamental principles on which the government of that country is based. Indian Constitution, World’s lengthiest written constitution, had 395 articles in 22 parts and 8 schedules at the time of commencement.
Later 3 parts were added to it as amendments –

- 9B – co-operative societies and
- 14A tribunals
